Whew, that was exhausting.  Merry Christmas everyone!

Almost Thanksgiving..........

Well just thought I would drop you a line and let you know how things are going here. Life is good! But we, me and my bro Shadow, are still looking for that elusive forever home! On monday Shadow and I went out in the yard and ran and ran until our tongues were hanging out of our mouths! We had a great time. Foster Mom only let us out, instead of the whole crew, so we could get some running in without her fur kids interrupting us. I don't think I, or Shadow for that matter, have run that much since our racing days! Hey for two seniors we still got it!! Looking forward to the holidays here, there will be lots of people to pet me and lots of extra food, if you know what I mean! I'm still hopeing to be in my forever home before Christmas though!! That would be the best present ever! No pictures this time though, maybe I'll strike a pose so that Foster Dad will take my picture again and you can see how beautiful I look. Hello there! This is a picture of me and my bro at the vet clinic on Friday 8 Nov.  It was our followup appointment for our dental surgery.  Everything looked good, Shadows sitiches have all desolved and mine are taking a little longer but I'm getting there. In case you don't remember I'm the white girl!!  I gained some weight and I'm now at 66 lbs, poor Shadow isn't gaining any, he is still at 68, even though he is eating a lot!!

Anyway, this is my blog so what is new for me.....on Monday I got a nice warm bath and now my back end is a nice healthy pink! My hair is slowly growing back, soon I will be as white as snow!  Not much else going on here, just lounging, playing with stuffies and running around the back yard with Shadow and my foster bro Wookie.....even ran a little bit with Lulu my foster sis.....she can be awful grumpy but I have been working on her and last night she even let me share the dog bed with her!! Trust me that is something that does not happen too often. Foster dad tried to get a picture but we thought he was going outside so we got up and followed him....how were we supposed to know he was going to get his phone/camera thingy.

Hi, It's me Lacey. I have moved to a new temporary home with my adopted brother Shadow (He's the black dog on the right). Our former home went through some difficulties and were unable to care for us anymore. So we have moved and are currently looking for a new permanent home that we can share. I will be 10 in January so I am moving on in years but I can still rip around a yard with the best of them. I would definitely love to find a home where Shadow and I can both go, my bro' needs me!! I know that would be a lot to ask because we are both seniors, Shadow just turned 9, but we would really bring a lot of love to your home. We both like to cuddle, as you can see on the picture above!

I had to have a dental but only lost 9 teeth, still got plenty left, don't need dentures yet!! I am up to date on all my shots and am in great shape for a 10 year old! I have a doctors appointment on Nov 8th just as a post dental check but that will be a piece of cake!!

So if you like seniors and would like to have two of them Shadow and I would love to come stay with you.
Of course we understand that having two seniors can be a little hard somtimes so if you have another greyhound and would like to add a senior please consider Shadow, he needs a companion more than I do.
